Hello, all of the important information in the link.  I had (FTM)top surgery 12 days ago out of state and I have developed a hematoma on thursday, it is getting larger by day.  My surgeon has said that it needs to be drained ASAP.  I have been to urgent care, and two separate ER’s in the past two days trying to get the help that I need.  The first ER flat out rejected me, told me they wouldn’t touch another surgeons work and told me to go all the way back to my surgeon to get my hematoma drained. After this, I arranged to see a Dr. on Tuesday, but saturday night it had doubled in size and I was too concerned to wait until tuesday. So we went to another ER, the nurses and Dr’s there were wonderful, but my plastic surgeon was extremely rude to me, he refused to try to drain my hematoma, even though the 3 Dr’s we talked to earlier that night said it needed to be done.  When my boyfriend got upset and angry that he was refusing to help me, and make me wait till tuesday even though it has doubled in size, he attempted to have my partner hauled out by security.  This was a truly terrible experience and now I have all of the medical bills for these ER’s without them even helping me at all.  So all of these expenses are to be combined with the cost of possible surgery on Tuesday.  So, PLEASE if you can spare 5 bucks, really anything to donate, if you can’t I would be just as happy for you to just take a second to reblog this to get the word out.

Hey, this is really important. My friend needs your help. He says that the first doctor seemed really transphobic, and the second one may have been as well. Even if it’s just 50 cents, it’ll add up. He’s been waiting a really long time to get this surgery and it sucks that he’s not able to enjoy it yet and now has this to worry about instead.

If anyone can donate, or share this post I would really really appreciate it.

WOW thank you everyone for donating! This is adding up faster then I thought it would. I am so happy that there are people who are willing to share and donate, I am not tumblr popular whatsoever, so its kinda crazy that this has 200+ notes. If you want to donate, but cant afford much, please don’t feel awkward or cheap for donating a dollar, or even 50 cents, it really all adds up! thanks again! -Elijah (OP)

ATTENTION FANS OF OPETH AND/OR KATATONIA IN NORTH CAROLINA

I have tickets to the Asheville show next month, but would much rather go to the one in Raleigh because it is like 500x more convenient for me.

So if you have Raleigh tickets and want Asheville tickets, wanna trade? Or if you don’t have tickets but want to go to the Asheville show, wanna buy mine from me? I have two.

First Image of Mars

Taken by the Viking 1 lander shortly after it touched down on Mars, this image is the first photograph ever taken from the surface of Mars. It was taken on July 20, 1976. The primary objectives of the Viking mission, which was composed of two spacecraft, were to obtain high-resolution images of the Martian surface, characterize the structure and composition of the atmosphere and surface and search for evidence of life on Mars.

The jellyfish Atolla lives worldwide in the deep sea, where light levels are very low. The jellyfish is bioluminescent — emitting blue-green light — and so are most of its prey. Scientists think that the deep red color of the animal’s stomach serves a purpose — to keep the blue light of its luminescent lunch from escaping and giving away Atolla’slocation to its own predators.
